Due to the current financial crises, this scholarship programs has been suspended for 2010! Please join our mailing list to get notified when this program is launched.
 It's often said by many that "Children" are our future. Here at Unity House, we believe an early education is vital to a child's development. For more than a decade, Unity House has sponsored a Child Care Assistance Program that provides parents with tuition assistance at licensed child care centers throughout the islands.
 Twice a year, eligible parents can enroll their children in the program and have peace of mind knowing their keiki is receiving good care while they are at work. This program is open to all Unity House beneficiaries, their children, and grandchildren. A Unity House beneficiary is defined as a past, present, or retired member with any one of the following organizations. (You must provide a form of proof such as a union identification card, withdrawal card, pay stub, etc.)
- Unity House, Inc.
- UNITE HERE Local 5
- Teamsters Local 996
- Friends of Labor
Open Enrollment periods are twice a year (January/February and July/August). Application, Instructions, & Brochure are available only during the "Open Enrollment" periods. The award is $100 per month, per child. Limited to one award per child per award period. Click here for current criteria.
