Arthur Rutledge believed that higher education was the key to a successful future. Motivated by a dream of providing families with a better quality of life, the Unity House Higher Education Scholarship Program was developed to help our beneficiaries achieve their educational goals and dreams. Unity House has awarded more than $2.5 million in scholarships over the past decade to thousands of young people.

This program is open to all Unity House beneficiaries, their children, and grandchildren. A Unity House beneficiary is defined as a past, present, or retired member with any one of the following organizations.

• Unity House, Inc
  
• UNITE HERE Local 5
  
• Teamsters Local 996
  
• Friends of Labor

Open Enrollment is from February 1st - April 15th each year. Instructions, Application, & Brochure are available only during Open Enrollment period. Awards range from $200 - $3000.
