Unity House's mission is to promote the true and proper interest of and assist the working individuals of the State of Hawaii by raising their standard of living and working conditions, by seeking to enhance the quality and quantity of jobs in the state of Hawaii and by assisting working individuals, members and their families when in trouble and need or in distress.

Unity House, Inc. is a private not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting, protecting and improving the quality of life for Hawaii's workers.

Unity House, Inc. was established in 1951 by Arthur "Art" Rutledge, as a labor support organization.  More than 20,000 labor union members and retirees, as well as many friends of labor, are its beneficiaries.  Unity House continues to expand its programs and services year after year.
