College
scholarships are available for members and their dependents attending
an accredited college or university. Based on school selection,
attendance and union status and Grade Point Average, the program
provides awards ranging from $200 - $1,000. Special awards are also available.
Applications are distributed from February 1 - April 15.

Award Limit:
The
number of renewals has been limited to four (4) as an undergraduate
student, and two (2) as a graduate student (regardless of how many
years are needed to complete your program).
Volunteer
Service
A
new volunteer service program is being introduced and participation is
mandatory. You
may refer to the Scholarship Brochure or Application Instructions for
more information on our Volunteer Service Program.
Become a
Registered Voter:
All
applicants are now required to be registered voters within the State
of Hawaii.
If you are currently registered,
a document is available that confirms a person’s status as a
registered voter in the State of Hawaii.
A “Voter Certificate” is available at any Satellite
City Hall office for a fee of .50 cents each.
This document must be picked up by the registered voter in
person only. ID and signature are required.
For
new voters, “Wikiwiki Voter Registration” forms are
available statewide as follows:

Higher Education offers Hawaii residents the opportunity to attend
